Cadet Program
Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department has an outstanding Cadet Program that has played a role in helping hundreds of aspiring firefighters obtain careers in the fire service.
Tempe Cadets volunteer their time assisting the Department throughout the week. In return, they earn the ability to participate in workouts while donning full gear and SCBA. Additionally, Cadets are assigned a Mentor, who is there to assist them in their pursuit of a career in the fire service.
